The waste salt produced in the production process is very harmful to the environment, threatening the health of human and animal, and needs to be treated. Heat treatment is a kind of waste salt treatment method, can decompose the harmful substances in the waste salt, rotary kiln is widely used in this kind of waste salt treatment equipment. According to the state of slag in rotary kiln, rotary kiln can be divided into soluble slag type and insoluble slag type, slag type rotary kiln has a higher firing rate.

However, rotary kiln incineration has the following disadvantages:

1. The removal rate is difficult to meet the requirements of hazardous waste treatment, waste salt is difficult to reach fine and uniform particles, the temperature in the kiln is difficult to control, resulting in high local temperature in the waste gas, high nitrogen oxide concentration;

2. Slag melting rotary kiln has high requirements on refractory materials, easy to damage, high maintenance cost;

3. At the same time, in order to improve the flaring rate, the slag rotary kiln needs more auxiliary fuel and higher excess air coefficient (to strengthen the contact between solid combustibles and oxygen), and low energy consumption;

4. The end of rotary kiln is equipped with secondary combustion chamber, which has high investment and operation cost.

In view of the above problems, in situ oxidation waste salt disposal technology can decompose and destroy the pollutants in solid waste salt. The technical scheme adopted is as follows:

An industrial waste salt treatment method consisting of the following steps:

a. Grind waste salt particles into powder in a vertical grinder;

b. Dry the powder in step A with hot air and then blow it into the incinerator for incineration;

C. In situ oxidation of waste salt disposal technology to collect molten salt formed by incineration, recovery of waste heat after incineration.
